It's a challenge for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The top summits have been successfully scaled.

We're talking about the team that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and earlier maintained nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, those for the achievement hunters, are the only things left for a squad that has accomplished all there is.

It needed up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase exceeding 300, taking back their record for the highest in the women's 50-over format, is, in truth, a tribute to the pitchers that have sported the yellow jersey over five decades.

"If you've been watching me in training, it has been a disappointing period because it appeared I've had no rhythm at all," commented Healy.

"Yet the moment you take the field, your competitive nature activate and you simply focus on the competition."

Healy's competitive nature has continuously been her major advantage - and an irreplaceable characteristic in replacing famous previous leader Meg Lanning.

She was challenged by India's promising player Kranti Gaud in recent ODI series, dismissed by the young fast bowler in every game, but this time it merely gave Healy's inspiration.

A single came off Gaud's first delivery and from there the batsman was underway.

"A chance to play and lock in a contest with her and simply enjoy myself in that aspect, sort of got me going," said Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 deliveries - her fastest at the World Cup - and her ton in 84 as she punished short deliveries, hitting 21 fours and three sixes.

When she was removed the team needed 66 more at one run per ball - a manageable total now needing a comfortable finish.

"To chase 330 is uncharted waters so I am glad we have the belief to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to repeat it but, if we do, we know we can succeed."

That comment will be the final thing Australia's opponents at this tournament should hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this triumph following victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at one point.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a meeting with old rivals England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a last-four spot may probably be guaranteed.
